Emileigh Claudel

From Lake Charles, LA, Emileigh Claudel's journey through adversity began as a high school freshman when a volleyball injury led to a torn meniscus. This was just the beginning of her challenges. Multiple surgeries followed, with one significant operation changing her life overnight. Waking up from a procedure meant to realign her bones, Emileigh faced a heart-wrenching reality: potential leg amputation. With three surgeries within 18 hours and a traumatic recovery, she emerged with nerve damage, paralysis in her foot, and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Her senior trip, graduation, and even the first semester of college were put on hold.

However, through all these trials, "Heart Has No Limit" resonated with Emileigh. Guided by this belief, she began relearning how to walk, eventually regaining her mobility and even re-engaging with her beloved sports. Emileigh's tale is a testament to the transformative power of hope, resilience, and the belief that our limitations are only in our minds.

“You have seriously changed my life and for the better. I now know not to give up and stop trying. There is light at the end of it all and heart has no limit has made me realize that. You are a true hero. Keep doing what you're doing cause you have saved me. And I know you will touch so many other people. THANK YOU!!”
